cooking spices list
hi everyone, today, we're going to show you how to make one variation of chicken curry.you'll need the following for this recipe: • 1 whole chicken -- washed and cut up intosmall pieces • 1 large onion• 5-6 garlic cloves • 1.5 inch of ginger• 1 cup of corn oil
cooking spices list, • ⽠teaspoon of turmeric powder• ⽠tablespoon of red chili powder • 2 tablespoons of coriander powder• ⼠teaspoon of black pepper • ⽠teaspoon of salt• water, which isn't shown here and • ⽠bunch of cilantro which is optionalstart off by slicing the onion.
then, we'll head over to the stove. add thesliced up onion to the frying pan. add the corn oil as well.we're just gonna fry the onions for about 5-8 minutes until they get soft.then go ahead and drain out the oil. then add the onions, garlic cloves, and â¼ cupof water to a blender. then go ahead and add your chicken to thefrying pan. let it cook for about 2-5 minutes until the chicken turns a whitish color.then add the blended onions and garlic cloves. after that, add your spices including: turmericpowder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and salt.then go ahead and let it cook for about 10 minutes on low heat to avoid burning the spices.make sure to stir occasionally.
then we're going to raise the heat up a fewnotches in order to evaporate any excess water from the chicken. this will get rid of anyunpleasant smell you might get. we're going to then cook it for another 35-40 minuteswhile making sure to stir every once and while. at the end of this step, the meat should startto separate from the bones. once the water from the chicken evaporates, you'll see that the fats and oils will start coming up to the top.now in order to get more curry, we're going to add about 1 â¼ cups of water and let itcook for about 3-5 minutes until the water
comes to boil.then add cilantro on top if you want and serve with a bread like chappati or plain paratha.please hit the subscribe button in order to
